Trend alert S/S 17 :: Statement sleeves

**Whether they're bell or balloon sleeves, asymmetrical or full of ruffles, sleeves are the "belles of the ball" this new season. Without any doubt this is a fashion trend pushing hard this S/S 2017!

Personally I’m not very fan of spending a big amount of money in trends, ‘cause in my opinion trends come and go… And there’s nothing worse than having a closet full of outdate pieces!! (Of course there are worst things that this ones, but for a fashionista thi is a real drama !! Hahahaha)

That’s why I prefer to invest in classic pieces and spend less in the seasonal trends, shopping in some of my favorite low cost brands (Asos, Shein and Stradivarius)

The sweater I’m wearing today (a bit heavy for the warm weather we’re having in Barcelona) is good proof of what I‘m saying: it cost me under 23$ (Whaaaattt??) and every time I wear it someone ask me where I bought it. It’s a bit short and straight so I wear it with a fitted dress and added a thin belt for a more feminine and flattering figure.

The result is an elegant and perfect look for formal occasions of the work environment.

Sweater: Shein (also got it in red but unfortunatley sold out now)
Dress: Berhska (last season, practically identical here)
Bag: DKNY (via The Outnet. Similar here and here)
Shoes: Local Market (loving this summery option)
Belt: Asos
